* Natural Ways To Fight Bad Breath*

Bad breath can be embarrassing. Many people suffer from halitosis which is a condition that is unpleasant and causes chronic bad breath. There are several things that can cause bad breath including bad dieting, dry mouth caused by dehydration, smoking, cavities, poor oral hygiene, gum disease, and bacteria buildup between your teeth and on your tongue etc. Below are a few natural ways to help fight bad breath.

1. Raw Apple Cider Vinegar: (I like the brand Braggs)
You can gargle with 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar mixed with 1 Cup water. The natural PH balance found in ACV will help to fight off bad breath.

2. Cinnamon:
Cinnamon is a natural antiseptic and helps to fight bacteria growth inside the mouth. Boil 1tsp of cinnamon powder inside 1 cup of water + strain this solution + allow to cool. You can gargle with this solution daily. You can also suck on a cinnamon stick.

3. Parsley:
Parsley works wonders to target bad breath. Simply juice a batch of parsley + drink. You can also chew on a fresh  parsley, cilantro, or mint springs to help freshen your breath. The chlorophyll found inside the herbs will neutralize odors.

4. Baking Soda
You can brush your teeth using baking soda + water. This method will help to reduce the acid and bacteria build up on your tongue. You can also gargle with 1/4 tsp of baking soda + water daily.

5. Lemons
Lemons naturally help to kill off bacteria growth inside the mouth. Take 2 tbs of fresh lemon juice + add to a glass of water  + rinse and gargle with the solution. Chewing a piece of lemon rind will also help (clean throughly first). You can also drink lemon water which works wonders for cleansing the entire body and helping to create alkaline environment inside your body.

6. Water
Dehydration is one of the major causes of bad breath. Drink lots of water which will naturally drive toxins, bacteria, and impurities from the body. Swishing water around inside your mouth will also help to break up food particles that may be stuck in between your teeth.

7. Diet (Raw Foods)
Consume more fiber rich crunchy fruits and veggies. They naturally clean the teeth and purify the body. Some great examples are apples, celery, cucumbers, lettuce, and carrots etc

8. Brush & floss daily
Brush after your meals and also floss to remove plaque and rotten food build up. Clean your tongue everyday with a tongue scrapper to reduce bacteria buildup. Change your tooth brush every two months, and keep it clean by pouring 3%hydrogen peroxide on your tooth brush and allow to sit over night. (be sure to rinse well prior to use)
